Consistency matters. For many of our neighbours, knowing that someone will be there — same time, same table — brings stability in a world that often feels uncertain. That commitment hasn’t changed.
For now, we will continue serving from our usual area. Our neighbours know where to find us, and we will keep showing up as we always have. That reliability remains at the heart of what we do.
At the same time, recent weeks have made something clearer: it’s important that we find a more permanent, welcoming location — one that allows us to serve consistently while also minimizing any unintended impact on nearby businesses or property owners. We never want our presence to create tension, disrupt operations, or put anyone in a difficult position. Our goal has always been simple — to quietly serve, build relationships, and move on respectfully.
Because of that, we’re beginning to actively look for a long-term spot that offers:
- Predictable access
- Minimal disruption to surrounding businesses
- A safe and welcoming space for our neighbours
- The ability to serve consistently in all seasons
- A setup that does not require open flames or temporary workarounds
This isn’t about changing what we do — it’s about strengthening it. A stable location helps everyone: our neighbours, volunteers, and the surrounding community.
If you know of a place that might work — a parking lot, church property, community space, business willing to host, or even a covered outdoor area — we would be grateful to hear from you. Even introductions or suggestions are helpful.
And as always, we ask for prayer — for wisdom, for the right location, and for continued unity with the community around us. Every step forward for Neighbors Table has come through open doors and willing hearts. We trust that the right space will come in time.
Until then, we’ll keep doing what we’ve always done: showing up, serving with respect, and caring for our neighbours — quietly and consistently.
